• Harry Frankenfeld: Spinning Plates? No Problem.

Tweaking Macs, customer support, programming, audio engineering. It's all in a day's work.
About Me.
The biggest news in my world is getting married to my beautiful sweetheart in October, 2006.
We're learning what it's like to figure out life together.
I moved here in the fall of 1992, after growing up in Dallas, to escape summers that cracked the earth, and to go to Belmont University. Spent a few years selling Macs to schools in a 7-state region, and left to pursue what was left of my sanity. I havent decided if I simply get paid to pursue my hobbies, or if I really don't have a life.
Current Projects ...
I should have known, when I was considering that third major in my undergrad (on top of two majors and
a minor), that I'd always have a number of irons in the fire. Here's what I'm working on right now:
- converting a bedroom to a multi-single-dollar recording studio
- trying to keep the weeds from taking over
- learning to build furniture without losing fingers
On the Bookshelf ...
I always have 3 or 4 books going. Here's the current stack:
- Agile Web Development with Rails, by Dave Thomas, et al
- In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote
- The God Who Hears, by W. Bingham Hunter
Now Playing ...
One of my other passions - here's a few of my desert-island discs, in no particular order.
It's like picking your favorite son or daughter ...
- Almost Happy, K's Choice
- Living With Ghosts, Patty Griffin
- Kind of Blue, Miles Davis
- The Turning, Leslie Phillips
- Satellite, P.O.D.
- War, U2
- Hail to the Thief, Radiohead
Time-Out ...
How I spend my down-time, other than sleeping ...
- the occasional FOH engineering gig
- poorly strumming my guitar
- drinking assorted beverages at either Sam and Zoe's or fido
- heading up the sound team at my church
- finding new applications for habaneros and black beans
'You need a shave...'
Why? I shave at least twice a week...
