The following will explain how to set up your new email account in Eudora for Macintosh.

  1. Go ahead and open your Eudora program, click on "Eudora" then "Preferences" on the top toolbar of the program as shown below:

  2. This will open a separate window. Select the "Getting Started" logo on the left. Then it will ask for the following information:
    • Username- this is the POP account ID generated by the server. It is going to look like a few letters with three numbers after it (me131).
      If you can't remember what your ID is, log into the dogbark account manager where you can manage your email information. You'll find what you need in there.
    • Mail Server- this is going to be mail.your_domain_name.com
    • Real Name- Your Name goes here.
    • SMTP Server- smtp01.dogbark.com
    • Email Address- This is the email address you have set up for your account. For example, me@mydomain.com.

  3. Click "Okay"

  4. Finally, when you click to either compose a new message, or get your messages it will prompt you for the correct password. Enter those correspondingly and you'll be good to go.
