The following will explain how to set up your new email account in Eudora for Windows.

  1. Go ahead and open your Eudora program, highlight the "IN" in the folders on the left hand side.
  2. Select "Tools" from the main toolbar, then "Options." (shown below)

    Eudora PC
  3. This will open a separate window. Select the "Getting Started" logo on the left. Then it will ask for the following information:
    • Real Name- Your First and Last name.
    • Email Address- This is the email address you have set up for your account. For example, me@mydomain.com or adam@dogbark.com.
    • Mail Server- this is going to be mail.your_domain_name.com

    For Sending Mail:

    • Username- this is the POP account ID generated by the server. It is going to look like a few letters with three numbers after it (me131). If you can't remember what your ID is, log into the dogbark account manager where you can manage your email information. You'll find what you need in there.
    • SMTP Server- smtp01.dogbark.com
  4. Click "Okay"

  5. Finally, when you click to either compose a new message, or get your messages it will prompt you for the correct password. Enter those correspondingly and you'll be good to go.
NOTE: There are a lot of different options down on the left hand side underneath of the "getting started" section. If you really want to set up specific things for your account you might want to rummage through that section as well.
