Mail is the default email application for OS X, and is a very well built and easy-to-use program.
- Go ahead and open up your Mac Mail program.
- Click on "Mail" then "Preferences"
NOTE: If it's the first time you have opened this software you can skip down to step 4.

- This will cause another window to open, make sure that the word "Accounts" is highlighted
on the top toolbar of this window and click the "+" sign to ADD a new account.

- Enter the information that it prompts you for and press "Continue".
- Account Type- Will always be POP.
- Description- This is what you will name the account in the mail program.
- Incoming Mail Server- mail.your_domain.com
- User Name- This was generated by Dogbark when you created your POP account. (ex. dog123)
- Password- The password you created for this POP account.
- The next screen requires information on your Outgoing Mail Server. When you are finished press "Continue" again.
- Description: Whatever you'd like to call this Outgoing Mail Server
- Outgoing Mail Server: use smtp01.dogbark.com
- DO NOT CHECK the box for "Use Authentication" or you will NOT be able to send mail.
- The next screen is in reguards to Outgoing Mail Security. If you are using Dogbark's smtp01.dogbark.com server
to send mail, make sure that the checkbox for "Use SSL" is left UNCHECKED and press "Continue".
- Finally, you need to review your settings in the "Account Summary" section. Make sure it looks correct, and make
sure that leave the "Take Account Online" checkbox CHECKED so everything comes up correctly. The press "Create."
