Dogbark.com >> How To
>> Use Our Webmail Interface
In the following "how-to" I will demonstrate how to log into your webmail account, fill out the first form, and tell you a little extra our webmail interface.
• Logging into Webmail.
- First you will want to open the browser of your choice. The address for webmail is the following: http://webmail.dogbark.com
- This will bring you to a log in page that looks like the next picture.
- You'll need access to your POP account username and password. This is NOT the
same as your email address, this is that actual POP mailbox name. It's going to
look something like you131, and each POP will have a corresponding password.
If you don't have any of this information, please go to the dogbark account manager to find your POP account username and password.

- When you have completed the Username and Password, simply click the "Log In" button and you will have access to your email account.
• Filling out the form.
- Now you'll need to fill out this form, if you do not people will not be able
to reply to your messages. Here is what you'll need to fill out:
- Full Name: Your First and Last Name
- Email Address: you@your_domain.com
- Reply To: This is the address that people will send to when they hit the "reply" button in their mail programs. It should be the same as the address above.
- Signature: This is an optional signature that you can add to your emails. If you do add a signature in there, make sure you check the "use signature" box below.
- Time-zone: used to add time-stamps to your emails. Please adjust accordingly.
- Reply Citations: You can add those if you choose to.
- When you are finished push the "Submit" button at the bottom.

- This takes you to the main options screen. You can change any personal prefrences that you would like at this point.
- Now you are ready to email away.
• Some notes about Webmail.
- We don't recommend that you use webmail as your main email source. POP accounts are best used with real email programs such as Mac Mail, Outlook Express, and others. There are some minor limitations with webmails appearance and functionality, so we just suggest using webmail when you are away from your home network as there is no need to specify your outgoing mail server like there is in a mail program.
- Webmail is accessing your mail server directly. If you erase messages from your webmail account, you will not be able to download them in any other email program.
- There a lot of options with webmail, look around if you are curious, and there is also a help section on the toolbar, if you get stuck, check that out.
