While we don't support Extensions you can still use FrontPage, just not the Extensions for "Publish".
• The Long Answer.
Problem: Microsoft's FrontPage extensions allow a user to edit directly from FrontPage on the hosting server, as well as run proprietary WebBots. The reason we do not support FrontPage Extensions is that the connection opened between your computer and the server is unnecessarily unsecure, and may give unauthorized access to your account, as well as to our servers. In other words, we have chosen to protect you and ourselves by not offering FrontPage Extensions support.
Solution: Microsoft also provides their Web Publishing Wizard on all Windows-compatible FrontPage CD's. This Wizard provides an upload-only interface for any FTP server. However, WPW will not allow you to view the contents of your server directories, nor delete files already in your server space. We would encourage you to install and use a standard FTP client. FrontPage generates standard html files, along with some Microsoft-specific code embedded in the page, so any FTP client, like WS-FTP and CuteFTP (for PC) or Fetch and Transmit (for Mac) will work.
• The Short Answer.
"Publish to file" rather than "to server." Then use a separate FTP program to upload to the serve.
• The Shortest Answer.
Ditch FrontPage and get Dreamweaver, or something like it.
