Welcome to the May edition of the Dogbark.com E-Newsletter. This newsletter is meant to give you updates on what's new with Dogbark and some tips about how to make your web-hosting better. Keep reading, as we usually throw some goodies to you each month (hosting discounts included :).

E-News Giveaways

Domain Registration
This is a reminder to do a "whois" check on your domain name to ensure that it's not up for renewal. We get quite a few emails and phone calls each month from customers whose domain names have expired, thus resulting in the loss of emails and web traffic. Chech the status of your domain name here. We suggest renewing your domain name in at least 2 year segments just to make sure your domain registration doesn't lapse.

Customer Spotlight: Lilian Laureano
Lilian Laureano is an experienced hair stylist and makeup artist. She is a professional who has experience in various types of media. Lilian's professional career began in a salon, and as a result of her fascination with photography and fashion, her transition to print, film and video was a natural progression. In addition to herprofessionalism and knowledge of lighting, color, hair and skin, she brings enthusiasm and style to every project.

Tip of the Month: Mac Mail Auto Responder
Are you heading out of town, and need to let folks know that you're not checking your email? Here's how to setup an auto-responder in your Mac Mail program. Open Mail, click on "Mail >> Preferences," in the top toolbar. Click on the "Rules" Icon on the toolbar inside the preferences window. Next, click "Add Rule." For the description, type in "Auto-Responder".

In the second line there you'll want it to read as follows: "If any of the following conditions are met: To contains... Then enter your email address in the next box. Then the next line it will say "Perform the following actions: Select "Reply to Message" then click on the "Reply Message text..." button and enter your message in the space provided. When you are done click "OK." You should be good to go, enjoy your vacation where ever the road may take you. Remember to turn off the Auto Responder when you get back from vacation :)
